Mos Def tries Guantánamo Bay’s Force Feeding Procedure
Today, the Guardian released a short film by human rights organization Reprieve and director Asif Kapadia, showing Mos Def (Yasiin Bey) being force-fed according to Guantánamo Bay’s operating procedures. Currently, over 100 detainees at Guantánamo are hunger striking in protest of their continued imprisonment, and at least 40 are being force-fed while in confinement.
