DIS collaborator Physical Therapy has remixed the latest 2010 single by the well-known R’n’B lesbian, Alicia Keys. Entitled, “Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready)”, the remix video debuted to critical peer acclaim yesterday, swiftly climbing up the Top News chart on Facebook (in DIS Magazine’s social network) during the 13 hours since, to be exact. Set to a CGI-dreamscape of Christ on Mount Olympus enduring an effervescent crucifixion evocative of Michael Jackson’s HIStory period, one can’t help but wonder about Alicia’s own struggle with building synthetic mythologies around her celebrity avatar, like the walls of biblical Jericho.
