TRAXMAN has been an instrumental figure in the evolution of Chicago house, juke, and footwork movements for over two decades.
Based out of Chicago’s West Side, Traxman (aka Corky Strong, aka DJ Fergi), is a co-founder of Chicago’s legendary Wu-Tang of DJs, the Geto DJz (est. 1992), and member of the infamous Ghetto Teknitianz.
Renowned for juke tracks such as “Get Down Lil Mama”, “Work Me”, “Let’z Get This Party Crackin'”, “Da Comeback”, “Gambinos”, “Computer Funk”, “Maniacal Laughter” and “Pac Man Juke”, Traxman has sourced samples for producers across the Chi and collaborated with the likes of Jammin Gerald, Paul Johnson, Robert Armani, Eric Martin, DJ Funk, Arpebu, DJ Rashad, DJ Spinn, DJ Clent, Bobby Skillz, Slik Rick Da Master, to name a few.
